The Old Maitland Inn is situated in Maitland a Major city in the heart of the Lower Hunter Valley, located 163km north of Sydney and 32km north– west of Newcastle, is situated just 10m above sea-level on flood plains adjacent the Hunter River.

The Old Maitland Inn is a family run business, where the hospitality is second to none. You will feel like you are in a home away from home.

The Motel is located directly adjacent the Rutherford Market Place Shopping Centre. The Market Place has the following facilities: Coles, Woolworths, Aldi and IGA, Newsagents, Post Office, Chemist, Doctor, Take away restaurants and several Novelty Shops.
The Old Maitland Inn is only 250 meters from the Maitland City Bowling Club.

Room Details:

We have 40 rooms which are all ground floor. The rooms are very large and well maintained. They all have their own bathroom which consists of a walk-in shower. FREE Austar is available in all rooms. Also included is an iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, bar fridge and reverse cycle air conditioning.

Restaurants:

We have a fully licensed Restaurant and bar with a built-in dance floor that is available for groups that may wish to have a dance after dinner. We also offer outdoor dining in our beautiful courtyard.

The Old Maitland Inn is well placed for all attractions both in the Hunter Valley and is only 75 minute drive from Port Stephens Other attractions include the historic Maitland Prison, Boat trips from historic Morpeth to Newcastle down the Hunter River, Chocolate factory, Cheese factory, Camelot Lavender and Llama Farm, Hunter Valley Gardens, the blue water paradise of Port Stephens and the list continues to grow along with the area.
