From humble beginnings the company has grown and evolved to offer an array of specially developed itinerary’s world wide for Probus Clubs, Senior Clubs, Schools and speciality groups. We also assist many of our club members when they travel by themselves and being a member of Hello World is an added advantage. We are able to offer very competitive prices and still give our clients the personal touch.

Working in the company everyday gives each Director a valuable insight into a clients changing needs and requirements, and a very hands on approach with each enquiry.

It’s easy when you care and everyone in the Reservations Team, Accounts Department, Sales and Marketing Department, Product Development and Website/Advertising area, all have the same culture…”the client comes first” and that is backed up by our Franchisees throughout Australia.

The care factor has not gone unnoticed and our Company has been the National Sponsor of Probus South Pacific since 2003 and we also have affiliations with regional Probus Associations in QLD and Victoria and this shows our dedication to the industry.

Our suppliers and the destinations we visit are a very important part of our business and every time we create a new international destination we make sure we give something back to a charity in the area and our clients love to get involved too.

Trade Travel – a story of growth and expansion

2011 Trade Travel DirectorsTrade Travel is a successful company with two office locations and a very interesting story to tell. After beginning in the tour industry back in 1988 in Mildura business partners and long time family friends Grant McGlashan and Gerard McManus together with their partners Kay and Tania have established a very successful and ever expanding tour company. Trade Travel was incorporated in 1992 and along with a third business partner Mark O’Brien and wife Sue, the company has steadily grown and expanded over the past 25 years. Trade Travel now employs many people with two licenced travel office locations in Queensland and Victoria and local representation in areas throughout Australia.

We are always looking to extend our number of Area Sales Managers throughout Australia and New Zealand.
The business is quite unique and has developed niche markets over the years based on Australia and the Pacific Islands for the seniors sector. Over time they have extended their portfolio of exclusive tours to include over 100 national tours and a vast array of international tours including New Zealand, Norfolk Island, Canada/Alaska, Sabah/Borneo, Taiwan, Hawaii, Vietnam/Cambodia, Fiji and several European destinations.

Their official and highly sought after national sponsorship with Probus South Pacific Ltd. has opened up a huge clientele for the company.
Trade Travel’s involvement with and support of Probus South Pacific was never more evident than in 2007 when it organised and hosted some 850 Probus members and delegates for the Probus 2007 Rendezvous held on the Gold Coast. The Rendezvous was proclaimed the most successful ever held.

Another area of continuing expansion is the Trade Travel Members Department. Trade Travel offers a fantastic opportunity for accommodation providers, attractions and regions to increase their exposure to the group market. This is achieved by their dynamic sales and marketing team promoting their members to a targeted audience in a unique and proven marketing strategy.
